OH EM GEE

Lol! I should update about my job status. I resigned from work (receptionist at english academy), for a new job near my house, better hours and better salary.
Is funny that the day i had my 2nd interview at the new place, the guys from the academy told me they weren’t renewing my contract (i believe for some shit that happened with my manager, i might not explain it publicly). Anyways, it felt good telling them i was quitting anyway, and handing over my 15 days notice, YOUR COMPANY SUCKS ANYWAY!! Favoritism, drama and cat fights, i’ve been over that since high school sweetie!

Not getting into details, but i have my first date EVER today (a bit silly posting about it since he may read it, i guess it was going to pop in the conversation anyways, or so i hope lol). We met yesterday online, and i know it’s crazy!!! I have never ever met a guy from the internet, and if yesterday morning i was told i’d be having dinner today with some guy from the net, i’d laugh so hard i’d probably pee myself.
As i was saying. We met yesterday, connected almost immediately (to my surprise, since in +5 years on the net i’ve never chatted that long and connected that fast with a guy). We have many things in common. From our favorite stand up comedians, to our passion for cinema (he works in the industry, in publicity. He’s an editor and he showed me his portfolio, he’s done some of the most amazing and admirable tv adverts in Spain), he also offered to edit any material i could be filming in the future, so that was cool.

SO, he asked me out for dinner today. We’re going to a sushi place in the city (Pink sushi it’s called), and then to a café near the restaurant. Am i nervous? Heck yes i am! But i have a good feeling about it. A long chat with my bff was needed to get over my insecurities, so now that i have (little by little), i hope he doesn’t stand me up!
